Super Quick Reviews…
It’s commonly accepted that Marshall Mathers and Slim Shady are classics. Curtain Call and Encore are toilet. This is somewhere in between, but a lot closer to the lyricism, flow and delivery of early 2000′s Eminem. Been re-listening to Infinite again lately too.

Upsettingly a million miles away from his early, quirky comedy wit. Regular & formulaic hyped dance anthems now. Still good, but for me, not great.
I started off with a gentle distain towards Giggs’ music, not liking his flow, voice, tone or delivery. That gentle distain morphed towards ambivalence and now resides somewhere around ‘I don’t mind…’. Let’s be honest, I’m never really going to be able to relate to his music or what he represents. He’s a south-london residing, former prisoner, gangster rapping daddy and whilst I reside in South London, I am self-professed middle-class, law abiding citizen (no Butler) who keeps a regular supply of morning after pills in the wallet.
This album represents the journey of improvement over time and shows what can be accomplished in the music industry when an artist surrounds themselves with dedicated, ballsy Management and chooses to focus on hard work and networking over other egotistical pursuits.
The real talent on this album for me is in the production, but Giggs certainly does deliver too. For me ‘Looked what the Cat Dragged in’ remains the lead track.
